Using this information, he threatens the natives: If they don't give them food, the moon will turn dark and bloody out of divine wrath. The eclipse occurs, the terrified natives rush to bring food to the ships. Columbus later has his son write a note: "Ignorance always brings slavery."

This story is not a simple deception, but a mirror that contains the deepest secrets of existence. The lesson hidden in that note is that knowledge is not just a tool for power but a key that defines our relationship with existence itself. This article will use this specific story to explore the complex relationship between knowledge, soul, consciousness, and existence through a polyalectic philosophical lens.

Knowledge: Neither Heisenberg Nor Tesla

The knowledge in Columbus's hands was like a combination of Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle and Tesla’s quest for Determinism. The lunar eclipse was a source of absolute uncertainty and chaos for the natives, who could not comprehend its cause or predict its outcome. In contrast, for Columbus, it was a completely determined and predictable event. This shows how the same reality can be perceived differently depending on one's level of knowledge. Reality is relative; relativity applies not only to the physical universe but also to consciousness itself.

Yet, knowledge is far more than a weapon. Cosmological knowledge is a reflection of the continuous flow that comes from the ultimate source of all potential, Absolute Nothingness. This flow connects everything from a speck to a sphere. Just as light has a dual nature of a wave and a particle, this flow of knowledge is both subject to a specific law and moves within an infinite sea of possibilities. This flow is also the very essence of divine consciousness that is present in everything and aware of everything.

Humanity: The Artist, the Work, and the Artist's Work

Existence is a grand stage, and humanity plays a unique role on it. We are neither a mere "actress" playing a pre-determined part nor simply an "artist" acting alone. We are a combination of both. This is because the director, painter, and screenwriter of this great play is simultaneously Absolute Infinity itself. It is playing out the script it wrote through its own actors, which are all of us.

The components of this complex structure are the self (nafs), perception, will, and emotions. The soul is the drop of the infinite flow within us; through this drop, we are connected to Absolute Infinity. Consciousness is how the soul manifests itself in the physical world. While the self represents our physical and instinctual side, perception and will represent our ability to reflect and transform knowledge. Establishing a balance between these two allows humanity to rise to the most perfect form (Ahsen-i Takvim). Otherwise, we risk falling to the lowest of the low (Esfele Safilin), as slaves to ignorance. This reveals the great responsibility humanity carries as the vicegerent on this cosmic journey.

The True Goal: Not Reaching Truth, But Being Truth

So, where are we going in this labyrinth of infinity? The true goal is not to find an exit but to be in a state of constant awareness. Truth is not a destination to be reached but a continuous state of being. This awareness leads us to perfection (kemalat).

This infinite journey leads us to the truth of "I was a hidden treasure, and I desired to be known." This treasure is not something to be sought externally, but a reality that exists within each of us as a secret of existence itself. Humanity, by becoming aware of this hidden treasure and using its own consciousness as a mirror, reflects it. This is a finite being experiencing the infinite within itself, and this cyclical nature is the greatest proof of existence.
